生于1905年1月3日，英国威尔士，逝世于1986年3月10日，美国加州。英国演员雷•米兰德三、四十年代主要在一些浪漫的爱情电影中担任主角，《失去的周末》成为他人生的最高点，不过这也是他最后—部可圈可点的影片。
